Every town has its originals who add flavor to the scene. Dave is certainly one of those originals at Cabarete Beach. He is not afraid of talking to strangers, hence everybody in Cabarete knows his name and life story. Even though he is a really intelligent guy with social antennas he is unfortunately stuck in a bad circle. As he does not want any responsibility whatsoever it is sad to see that he is not even trying to change. He can at any time be found in a beach chair or walking around bare-feeted with his dog Brun and a plastic cup of cuba libre or a beer in his hand. He is a believer of second impressions, not first. Rumors are that he has been starring in some movies with less conversation than in normal movies... He used to be a fit surfer, but has not been seen on Encuentro for a while. Can at all times be found hanging around Onno's without a T-shirt and shoes.
